Pastor Steve Hart is excited to serve the San Marco church community. Steve is a second career pastor who also serves as the attorney advocate for clients with Baker Act cases in Duval and Nassau counties. Steve has served pastoral appointments for more than a decade and he loves the opportunity to share and help guide the faith journeys of people from all walks of life. Steve is a graduate of Colorado College, Cornell Law School, and Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. As the picture illustrates, Steve loves the great outdoors and he considers a hike in nature an important spiritual discipline!

Worship Coordinator

Shauna Clark is a lover of music, performing, and worshipping our God. She has worked with San Marco Church for nearly 8 years and has assumed the position of Worship Coordinator, where she leads the congregation in song and organizes the talented team of musicians. She is passionate about music and dedicated to creating a meaningful worship experience for all. When not at SMC, she can be found at home with her fiancé Bradley and three dogs Thea, Slater, and Macy or performing onstage at local community theatres in Northeast Florida! Love you pop pop.

Derrick is the Executive Director of Campus to City Wesley Foundation and Studio Wesley, as well as the Co-Lay Leader for the Florida Conference of the UMC. It is his joy to serve at SMC. Proud black, gay man, Cicerone Certified Beer Server, history graduate, and textbook introvert. He loves eating sushi, flying on Delta, pouring craft beer, talking theology, and taking care of his Chihuahua-mix dog Winston and Bengal cat Julian.

Sara is a Jax local and a proud dog mom. When not enjoying Jaguar Football or Jumbo Shrimp/Cubs Baseball, she is cooking a meal for family and friends. Sara is a young professional and is blessed to bring her operational skills to ministry.
